No! My precious polticical debate is gone... ah well.
IRT Mitsuki: That final bit is like real life. The important people get paid next to nothing (i.e. Firemen and police), while unimportant people are paid millions (i.e. Pop stars and sports players) This world is messed up.

Shini! Who;'s your partner!?
He looks like Aoshi in face and hair, and Holmes in clothes!

IRT One Classy Bloke: That's so very true. The world is screwed but hopefully things will get better, but I sincerely doubt that.
Anyway, being me, I'd highly recommend Yami no Matsuei to anyone but of course it does have a bit of shounen-ai in it and if you can't handle violence, occult material/horror elements and a bit of shounen-ai then I'd say this isn't the anime for you.
The animation is simply goregous, the characters are all incredibly (except for Muraki-sensei *hisses and boos* I hate that pyschotic bastard... >_< and the story is very interesting and thought-provoking, though it is short. I'm praying that their going to continue it. 13 episodes isn't enough damnit! >o<

hmm... i may check it out, but what do you mean by violence? Is it like super powered, eg someone bumps into someone else and their head falls off and enough blood spurts out to fill two big houses? Or is it not like that? I need to know!

There isn't an excessive amount of gore but there is still blood. It is a very dark anime, dealing with issues of: death, sucicide, rape and murder but it does have a bit of comedy to lighten the mood which is good.
Anyway, it's a very good anime. My very favorite of all time. If you like the anime you should definately look into the manga but it's definately more hardcore then the anime so watch out.
